MULTAN : At least twelve people have been killed and 43 others injured in twin bomb blasts here, damaging various buildings and triggering tensions in the area, Aaj News reported on Tuesday.
According to the report, blast hit Qasim Bela area of Multan Cantt. Rescue teams, police and other relief teams reached the site of the incident and shifted the injured and dead bodies to hospitals.
Provincial lawmaker Haji Ehsaan said that 12 people have been killed and 25 others injured while rescue sources claimed 12 killing and 43 casualties.
It may be mentioned here that the blast hit in an area where the army and security agencies have a number of offices. Police have cordoned off the blast site.
